Kalimera, I would like to report worrying conditions in one of the most touristically growing regions in Greece, the bay of Navarino with its lagoon and the Natura 2000 nature reserve. The military flight school in Kalamata performs here with their very old and above all very loud aircraft flight exercises in which pursuit flies and loops are practiced. The machines make a deafening noise. This is not acceptable to locals, tourists (there is resistance - many will not come back!), Nor is it acceptable to the Natura 2000 birdlife and other species. It has been proven that the number of migratory birds in the lagoon is decreasing from year to year. The aircraft fly up to 6 hours throughout the day from 7 - 19 hours distributed mostly with two aircraft at the same time over this area. is it allowed to fly over Nature Reservates??
